| Outdoor Weather Sirens I have obtain some information about Outdoor Weather Sirens from some of the Counties EMA Directors. Barbour County - The following locations have a Outdoor Weather Siren: Clio, Lousiville, Bluesprings, Clayton, Bakerhill, Eufaula, and White Oak. Some have more than one. The Test time for these locations are Noon the first Wednesday in each Month. Crenshaw County - Coffee County - Has 26 Weather Warning Sirens Located through out the County. Enterprise, Goodman, Tricommuities, New Brockton, Battens, New Hope, Elba, Kinston, Ino, Pine Level, Clintonville, South Kinston, and Victora. These Sirens are tested the First Wednesday of every Month. www.ccema.com Covington County - Dale County - Geneva County - Henry County - Houston County - has 32 sirens used for weather warnings located throughout Houston County and the Municipalities within the County. If anyone has a question as to how far they are from the closest siren, You may call the EMA office and they will be glad to locate it and tell you the approximate distance from your location. There phone number is 334-794-9720. The Test time is Noon, the First Friday of the Month. Pike County - The following locations have a Outdoor Weather Siren: Hamiliton Crossroads, Springhill, Henderson, Meeksville, and Saco. Goshen, Brundidge, and Banks have two locations. The Test time for these locations is 10am the First Wednesday of each month. The City of Troy has 10 Outdoor Weather Sirens located through out the City. The Test time for the City of Troy is Noon the First Wednesday of each Month. NOTE: Be advised that these times are Weather Permitting. If Severe Weather is Threatning any of these locations the Test will be Cancelled. | |
